Yummino ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and shared when you use the Yummino mobile application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you sign in using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In, we receive limited account information such as:

• A unique user ID
• Email address
• Display name (if provided by the provider)

We do not collect or store passwords.

1.2 User-Provided Content

Depending on app features, you may provide:

• Product searches, scans, or saved items
• Preferences and app settings
• Optional text or data entered directly into the App

1.3 Automatically Collected Information

For functionality, security, and debugging, we may collect:

• Device type and operating system
• App version
• IP address
• Usage events and timestamps
• Crash and error logs

1.4 Payments

All payments are processed externally by:

• Google Play Billing
• Apple In-App Purchases

We do not collect, store, or process payment card or billing details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and operate the App
• Authenticate users
• Store user data and preferences
• Enable premium features and subscriptions
• Perform AI-based analysis and generate results
• Improve performance, reliability, and user experience

3. AI Analysis & Third-Party Processing

Yummino uses artificial intelligence services to provide analysis features.

• Certain user inputs (such as product information or ingredient text) may be processed using OpenAI APIs
• AI processing is used only to generate analysis results within the App
• We do not use your data to train our own AI models
• We do not sell AI-processed data to third parties

Processing by OpenAI is subject to OpenAI’s own privacy and data handling policies.

4. Data Storage & Security

• User data is stored using Google Firebase services, including Firebase Storage
• Reasonable technical and organizational measures are applied to protect data
• Access to data is restricted and monitored

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take appropriate precautions.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share limited data only with essential service providers, strictly for app functionality:

• Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, analytics)
• OpenAI (AI analysis)
• Google and Apple (authentication and payments)

These providers process data under their own privacy policies and security obligations.

6. Data Retention

• Data is retained while your account remains active
• If you delete your account, associated personal data will be deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, unless retention is required by law

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access your personal data
• Request correction or deletion
• Withdraw consent
• Request data portability

Most data can be managed directly within the App.

8. Children’s Privacy

Yummino is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted in the App or on our website and become effective upon posting.
